Chater's is:

1 - A independent neighbourhood haunt with a focus on specialty coffee, aperitivo, fresh pasta and natural wine. 

2 - Home to Vault Aperitivo, an independent modern distillery, specialising in Vermouth and botanical spirits. 

3 - A general store stocking provisions, including fresh pasta made in house, other ingredients that feature on our menu, Wood Street Coffee retail bags, homeware and Vault Aperitivo products.

Please note we do not accept reservations for drinks only. We do however keep a couple of spots free for walk-ins , so please do swing by for a glass, a plate or coffee.   

For group bookings of 7+ we offer a set menu which changes seasonally, showcasing the best of our a la carte offering. Please contact us at enquiries@chaters.uk to discuss your options. 

Set just off the main dining room we also have our beautiful tasting room. This private dining area is perfect for your larger group gatherings and celebrations. Available for between 7 and 15 people.

A note on cancellations.

As a small family-run operation, last-minute cancellations can be detrimental. Therefore card details are required for all bookings and a fee of £25 per person will be charged in the event of a no show. We understand that plans change but please allow as much notice as possible if you'd like to make changes to your booking.

Changes can be made through our online booking system, Resdiary.

We don't have a phone line, because we are, more often than not, serving customers and unable to answer. Please contact us via enquiries@chaters.uk, at least 24 hours prior to your booking if you have specific requests that can't be managed through our online platform.
